Nerd Lunch: Halloween Episode!

Hey friends, what a day it is! As if this Halloween season couldn't get any cooler, the team at the Nerd Lunch podcast contacted me a few weeks ago thanks to my friend, Jay (The Sexy Armpit) and asked if I could fill in some big shoes for this year's Halloween episode. Completely flattered and a little intimidated, I jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately, Matt from Dinosaur Dracula couldn't make it to this years show because of scheduling conflicts but I tried my best to be his fourth chair fill-in. And brother, it was a blast!

This year, the show was about horror movies and restaurant chains. Each of us assigned one another a restaurant paired with a horror movie and we had to come up with a menu as if they were sponsoring the release. I don't know how it happened, but this year I got the biggest softball of them all; Texas Roadhouse and Tobe Hooper's 1974 masterpiece, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Different people assigned the movie and restaurant chain so what are the chances, right?

Well, I had an absolute blast with it and those guys at The Nerd Lunch really know what they are doing. I have been a fan of this podcast for years so to be on the show was a pretty surreal experience. I can't thank Jay enough for the suggestion and a big thanks to Paxton Holly, Jeeg, and Carlin for letting me rap about my favorite holiday of the year. OH!!! Speaking of rap, holy shit Jay lays down some pretty sick beats too. You just have to listen. I didn't know he had it in him!

On a side note, I did have trouble explaining what the Casserole of Disaster is all about. I sounded like someone who shouldn't be on Star Search. Oh well, this was so much fun so give a listen!
